Over the years one of my favorite devotionals has been God Is Enough by Hannah Whitall Smith. Each of her devotions remind me that regardless of what is going on God is enough. As I have been encouraged, may you be encouraged to trust in the God of the Bible because He alone is enough.
GOD IS ENOUGH
God is enough and will meet all your needs.
All His riches in glory abundantly exceed
Anything or anyone upon which we may cling.
God wants us to call upon Him and to bring
All our cares because He is Almighty indeed.
God is enough to set our souls eternally free.
He gave us His Son Jesus to die on that tree.
He provided the Way for our forgiveness of sin.
There’s infinite salvation when we receive Him within
And then through Christ we live life victoriously.
God is enough when we’re feeling all alone.
He is Omnipresent so we are not on our own.
When others disappoint and tend not to remain,
God comforts and loves us so we can sustain
Whatever life throws us, for we are not alone.
God is enough because He knows what is best.
He wants us to trust Him in all trials and tests.
He made us for His pleasure to follow His will.
Listen intently for His voice so small and still.
Obey Him completely and you will be blessed.
